Dh been working away Mon to Fri for the last 5 weeks and will be doing so until at least Autumn.

I started having a couple of drinks in the evening to help me sleep and also snacking more as alcohol makes me hungry.

Now were several weeks in and I'm still doing it,I used to drink once a week and I want control back.
I've put weight on and I'm not happy with myself at all.

I've got a good knowledge of diet and health but I feel like I'm losing who I used to be.

I had to stop having things I couldn’t control myself around in the house. I’m 3 days in and recording everything I eat and drink on an app. It made me disgusted with myself and I couldn’t hide the excessive calories I was eating.

Is it possible for you to get out in the evenings? Can you go to a sports club or gym? If you have DCs, can you take them to a hobby to do together? Even start walking around the area.

It's a case of not buying the stuff in and therefore not having it, but it sounds like a change of environment would do you good too. More activity would also wear you out
