Myself and My DP have a holiday booked for the 5th September (Very delayed anniversary trip) to a destination which currently has the following message on the FCDO website:
'The FCDO advises against all but essential travel to the whole of Slovenia based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks.'
Looking at the country rules - they are allowing tourists in for travel based on a set of rules (i.e must be able to present Covid-19 Vaccine Cert / PCR Test). We are both double vaccinated with the Pfizer jab.
It has left us really confused, is anyone else in a similar situation? We don't know whether to go or not still? Hoping that this message is removed, but who knows? From my understanding travel advice is just that but it may cause us difficulties with travel insurance. Arghh should we go or delay it further? We have 2 weeks to decide as this is when we would be entitled to cancel our accom for free.
