Hello fellow mumsnetters šš¼ Iām currently undergoing my first round of IVF. I had a second scan last week which, at the time of the scan, the sonographer told me all looked great. I was so excited. I sent the photos off to the fertility clinic and they called me and said there is some bad news, they are cancelling the cycle as I āseemā to have a polyp and not only that but there is no ātriple stripeā on my endometrium lining.
This is all so upsetting! I had a scan in May and the fertility clinic told me that scan showed all to be normal, no polyps and I had the ātriple lineā. In fact, that scan showed my lining was 7.5mm and on the most recent scan, just over 9mm so I foolishly thought my lining would have created the āperfectā environment for implantation.
I have been doing some reading and although a polyp can be surgically removed, there is nothing I can do about the absence of the triple line, and apparently itās presence is vital for a successful pregnancy.
I canāt find much on the net about it, everywhere talks about the thickness of the lining and how to increase it but not the bloody elusive triple line which has decided to up and do one from my uterus š¢
Can anyone offer some hope that I might be able to get pregnant? Time is not on my side. Thank you!
