Hi my daughter is going into year 8. Through Yr 7 she made this friend who unbeknown to us was physically and mentally abusing her. It came out last day of term. The school knew of the other girls problems but failed to safeguard my daughter. I've spoke to safeguarding but as summer they have basically said enjoy the summer will sort day before she returns. I've spoke to nspcc who aren't happy. There was a feeder school but she liked this school and it has its pluses so decided to go here but with what's happened I've lost trust in the school and considering leaving. Worried will make it worse. Anyone else had similar and was it a mistake to change or what helped?
