Hi,

It's been so long we have had any kind of gathering Iv totally forgot what to serve. It's my daughters 3rd birthday this weekend and we are having a family party. It should dry but not particularly warm (hosting outdoors)
It's super informal, and potential plan is
Kids - pizzas, hot dogs in a bun, usual crisps, fruit/ veg platters
Adults - slow cooker curry and chilli, rice etc probably some butchers pies,

I'm just not feeling it, does anybody have any suggestions? I'd love for it to be easy/ stress free so I can spend time with my little girl and family.

Usually my husband does a bbq or make pizzas but he's also wanting to spend time chatting and not cooking

Seriously if you can afford it just get sandwich platters from a supermarket and put out bowls of crisps. No one is coming for the food just something to keep everyone full

I'd love it if I could but we both love food and entertaining. Our family certainly wouldn't say anything but it's not what's 'expected' if that makes sense x
