Holiday book recommendations

I’m off on my holidays tomorrow and would love a few books to read (of course I’ll have loads of time to do this around the 4 year old Grin) any recommendations?

I don’t particularly like murder books, or anything too scary or tense. In fact if nobody dies in the book that would be lovely. I like Lisa Jewell, Jilly Cooper, Marianne Keyes. Any suggestions gratefully received Smile

Harriet Evans novels are great, particularly the later, family saga ones. And Eve Chase is very good - try "Black Rabbit Hall".

Holly Hepburn, Paige Toon, Libby Page, Beth O’Leary and Heidi Swain are all authors it might be worth looking at based on your likes.

Or if you want a specific book recommendations, The One We Fell In Love With by Paige Toon, The Lido by Libby Page or The Switch by Beth O’Leary

Lisa Jewell has a new one out, has been getting good reviews! The Night She Disappeared. I've just bought it looking forward to it

Veronica Henry's Beach Hut novels are a nice light read. Or Rachel Hore, if you prefer a mystery element.
