I know I'm massively overthinking this but DD starts school in September and we went buying her uniform yesterday. The uniform policy states all items can be with or without school logo. I decided to get her the cardigan/jumpers with the logo but the rest I was planning to get somewhere else. The woman in the shop looked at me horrified and said what not even the polo shirts?
Now I probably sound pathetic but it's made me feel even though it's optional there is probably a stigma towards those who don't (basically they will be seen as the poor kids.) I feel it will create that divide that uniform is suppose to prevent.
Am I overthinking this? Do you find most try and get all the school logo uniform?
