So, last year, the battery on my current phone decided to become swollen. Sent it off to the manufacturer (Huawei) and they repaired it. By repair, I mean, take it out of the box, get a new phone off the shelf and send new phone back. All seemed well and good, and, as I expected new phone to last a couple of years, I decided to go Sim only in December. My phone had other ideas and the battery is, a year on, starting to swell again. Went to provider store and was advised that, as Sim only, I can upgrade to a phone contract for free as I took the contract out over 90 days ago.
The only problem is, on my budget, I really can't decide which phone I want. On the one hand, there's the Samsung S20 FE. On the other the Google Pixel 4a.
Same upfront cost, and only £1 difference in the monthly price. I've looked through the specifications for both and both have things I like that the other doesn't have.
Please, wise people of Mumsnet, help me pick a phone! I'm supposed to be going back on Monday and would like to have made a decision by then.
