Pink hair for a child!

Brendabigbaps · 31/07/2021 20:01

My daughter is desperate for pink hair over the summer holidays.
My last memory of hair dyes is from 20 years ago with the horrid ammonia smell.

We want something that will last a few washes, any recommendations please?

Coloured hair wax. It is quite good. You put it as a cream on damp hair, and it lasts the whole day, or till next wash, but I would not risk the pillow cases!

Adore hair dye is fantastic for this.
Every colour you can think of and washes out in about 6 washes.
eBay sell it, about 6 quid a bottle. Bottle keeps for ages but be careful it gets everywhere!!

I highly recommend common panda!

There are spray ones in Claires that last a few washes. Or if it's a young child, stick with hair chalk.

Directions are good. They wash out really nicely. What colour is her hair now?

idontlikealdi · 31/07/2021 21:58

What colour is her hair? Crazy colour is great, but if she's dark it won't show

Brendabigbaps · 01/08/2021 10:36

Thanks all, she’s blond.
We’ve tried the Claire’s one, looked great for an hour but fades really quickly.

Bleach London pink shampoo and conditioner deposits colour and is easy to apply.

DD uses the revolution ones in boots - they’ve got lovely ones for blonde hair.
