Ready for Autumn now

Anybody else ready for autumn now? It’s been raining none stop last couple of days and I am so ready to be wrapped up, fire on, cosy socks. Love the leaves falling from the trees and then Halloween and bonfire night. Feel like summer is over now and I just want to be a hermit for the foreseeable even though we still have August to go! Anyone else feel the same

But it effectively is autumn atm! It's grey, windy and frequently rainy - I think you can crack out the cosy socks already.

No I don’t want it to be autumn, though that is my favourite season. All those kids just off school - what I want is nice weather!

No, not at all. I'm thoroughly enjoying the summer. Bit of a shame to spend your life yearning for the next phase.

We've just had two weeks of amazing hot weather, I'm loving the cooler weather but hoping we'll get another warm period before September, if not it was a good one!

@MistySkiesAfterRain I wouldn’t mind another bit of sun before it’s officially autumn but when it’s chucking it down none stop I just think meh might as well be in autumn!

We are having lovely cool weather. It does make me yearn for cosy nights by the fire.

Erm, no! I'm still waiting for summer to arrive!!

I love the extra daylight we get at this time of year.

Just because TK Maxx have got their Pumpkin ornaments out on display, doesn't mean it's nearly autumn!! The summer holidays have only just begun!!
Last year we went away at the end of September and it was scorching hot! So we've at least 2 months of hot weather yet! 🏖🏝

Love autumn, but not ready for it yet. Been loving the sunshine and hope we have more

@DinosaurDiana I did notice that Movies 24 (I think) has 24hours of Christmas films if you like the Hallmark type ones with the same storylines! 🤣🤣
