I won a competition recently and would like to buy something nice with the prize money 😊

Maybe a piece of clothing that I'll use regularly, but wouldn't usually buy?

I've got £200 to spend...what would you buy?

I'd buy some cashmere pjs

Spend it quickly before it gets consumed into household spending!

I find amounts like this burn a hole in my pocket (had money gifts for big birthdays etc)! I'd just blow it all on luxury versions of things you like. For me:

Fortnum's chocolates (big box!)
Pair of earrings
Expensive candle

I'd get a pair of Doc Martens for when the colder weather comes, they're an investment you can use for years. Always fancied a pair of the proper branded ones but they're pricy so I make do with the Primark version which only last one winter.

Yes I agree, I need to spend it quickly so it doesn't just get absorbed into the summer holiday spend!

Cashmere pjs sound good! I could lounge in them whilst eating some expensive chocolates 😊

You should be able to get a decent cashmere scarf for that if you shop around a bit.
