Help please! Urgent guest wedding outfit advice needed!

City centre (not London) wedding noon today. Had planned on wearing a long, navy evening style dress, but found out late last night that the small group I’m attending with are mostly wearing short summery dresses. Should I wear a more summery day dress, or stick to the long navy one?? 😩

Both are comfortable, the navy one looks gorgeous, but I want to fit in. I think it will probably fit in with the other guests, but possibly not with my smaller group!

Go for a summery dress, long navy doesn’t sound very July lunchtime wedding and it’s going to rain this afternoon so your dress might get ruined if you have to move between venues.

It sounds like it will bother you to be in the navy so I’d switch. You will feel more confident if you’re comfortable and have more fun

Summery as it may well rain and the bottom of a long dress would get very wet and annoying

Go navy. It's lovely and I think could be dressed down to be more casual if you're concerned.

Agree with @Bagelsandbrie the navy one is gorgeous. It's irrelevant what everybody else wears. Both are completely suitable so wear the one you prefer!

@Mindgone The navy one! You won't 'stand out' as in like a sore thumb, but will be eye-catching because you look properly and elegantly dressed for a wedding.
