Where to report?

I witnessed violence between a parent and a small child earlier today.

I don't have much information to give but don't feel comfortable not reporting it. I'm just not sure who to call...

The non-emergency police? Social services? Some other organisation?

Thanks Smile

If there is a chance of cctv footage then maybe police? Although without much information it may be unlikely to result in any follow up but I guess there is a chance that someone could be recognised.
Very upsetting for you to see I’m sure, poor child Sad

There may be CCTV footage from the shop where they'd been. The car was parked outside and it was in there that I seen.

Really awful to witness and I've kicked myself all afternoon for not intervening at the time! Whether it would have helped the child or not I've no idea but don't think I'll sleep tonight if I don't tell someone.
