Please help me find ds2 an ironing board!

Ds2 is autistic and dyspraxic... I'm trying to find him an ironing board. Due to his dyspraxia neither of us want him to have one with a gap where you put the iron! (I can forsee burns on a rental carpet or worse burnt toes! Shock)
So a solid ended ironing board preferably one that you don't need a degree to put up and take down(like my Mum's that you have to fiddle under the cover!) Under £30 preferably! Thanks in advance.

Seriously almost any ironing board will do. I have never had one that is fiddly to put up or down and whilst ours does have a hole for the iron I never use it I just put it down on its end on the actual ironing board.

@Hellocatshome. My Mum's ironing board is horrendous.. I'm dyspraxic too and I hate it...

Maybe rather than trying to find an ironing board that meets all the criteria look at getting a steam generator iron? I have one and I sit the base on a little table next to the board. With mine You don’t have to adjust the temperature for different material and if you leave the iron face down it doesn’t burn anything.
Probably will then be easier to find a board that is easy to put up and down

I have this one that just has a mat on the end of it to put the iron on (which I removed and have never used, I just stand the iron up on its end). It’s easy to put up and down and the looped legs mean I won’t ever scrape the floor with it (the feet on my old one wore through and I gouged a chunk out of the floor).

I begrudged the amount of money it cost.

A small table top one? They do them in IKEA and Dunelm.

Sorry is slightly over your budget. Didn’t notice the stipulation. There might be other similar ones with the same setup. Certainly there are more expensive ones like it - £80 for an ironing board? No thank you.

He's got a table top one and can't get on with it... 😔

What about a table top board? I have one as a spare when I can't be bothered to get the ironing board out.

I've also got a silicone iron pad to lay the iron on so as not to damage the table.
