Lol at msg from Facebook- talk about missing the mark!

Facebook just kindly put a msg on timeline saying-

'gerbil! Find someone who likes you for you!'

Is it just me or is that wording... Let's say not uplifting

Presumably it's all in the context of what it's about and what they're saying it about, what's happened before this
To me it sounds quite supportive, assuming there's background as to why she's said it

The message was a generic one from Facebook! Not a person.

No context. Just hello! People don't like you for you- we can help!

It's for dating. Trying to say their dating thing isn't stuffed with creepy men maybe?!

Oh whoops I didn't know they did that!

It's sort of like something a friend who didn't actually like you would say!
