Currently on a camping holiday, has anyone been to splashdown? Is it mostly slides or is there like a wave pool? General swim area too? We have been to Alton towers splash landings a few times...is it similar?

Please can anyone help

I just booked this for next week. As far as I can see it's mostly slides.

I’ve not been for a couple of years, but I’m pretty sure it’s not changed too much. Pretty much all slides, small shallow pool for little ones. Not my cup of tea (free conjunctivitis with every ticket 😉) but the kids love it!

Downside is no pool just slides. Good slides though if thats your thing.

Slides aren't really our thing, I was hoping it would be like Alton towers splash landings

No. Far better than AT for slides but it is slides...

We loved Splashdown as kids (now 40) - it certainly used to be just slides. No swimming pool or wave pool.

Oh wow I loved going to splashdown as a kid. I had no idea it was still there!

I'm booked for ds's next week. We've been going for 15 years, ever since we've owned a caravan in Dorset.

It is true it's largely slides. It has a small heated pool up at the top, in the outside section.
