Shit! Arrival from Malta - PCR needed?

I've got this right round my neck so I'm asking here.
I'm due to arrive back mid-August, and have booked a day 2 PCR.
Do I need to do one before my return too?

It looks like you do need to have a negative PCR test to enter the UK, even from Malta which is on the green list currently.

@TATTSOTATT, thank you - that's what I thought, but no mention of it on the holiday company site, even though they tell you to do the day 2 one....

Apparently a LFT will do, but you have to it for the priceless of someone certifying it...
