Anyone had an interview with sainsburys recently?

If so what questions did they ask? How do you feel the interview went and did you get the job?

After 6 years out of work I have an interview tomorrow and I'm mildly terrified!

No but guessing it'll be very customer service based.
read over the job/person spec and incorporate that into your answers.
So could be something like, when is a time you've went over and beyond for a customer, how do you deal with any complaints etc

My dd had one last week. She got the job, had her induction earlier this week and starts tomorrow. She’s doing stock ie restocking shelves etc. What’s the job?

She did tell me the questions but I can’t really remember them all. I can ask her later if you want?

I am aware of the types of questions they would probably ask for a store assistant, I was just looking for specific ones and recent experiences.

Have you checked glassdoor?

I’d just be a bit wary assuming it will be the same though. Just make sure you’re generally prepared rather than preparing only for specific questions.

So dd said she was asked:

A load of practical questions about availability, holidays etc.
Tell me about yourself
A question about customer service and when you have gone over and above.

She can’t really remember any others.

She’d previously had a couple of unsuccessful interviews so we looked on glass door, indeed etc for sample questions and I asked her loads. She had lots of scenarios and examples ready.
