Hi all,
I've recently repotted my succulent, now it doesn't look happy at all I've not been over watering it every 4-6 weeks it gets watered. Leaves are all shrivelled up ill add some pics. What do I do?

Can anyone give me advice on my succulent plant please??

It needs more light, it's stretching up (etiolating) towards the light and the lower leaves die off. You can cut the top bit off and re-plant it, but it will just do the same again unless it has more light.

@Pinkywoo thank you for your reply, I've took some leaves off to try and propergate it. So hopefully I can get them rooting. Looks like the stem is starting to rot. I've just cut it as you advised fingers crossed I can bring it back to life.

In my experience with those succulents once they look like that there’s no going back. I agree they live a sunny location.

In summer they actually do quite well outside if you have a sunny garden, just make sure to bring it in before any frost.

I could put them outside, thinking of investing in a grow light for them so I don't keep getting this problem especially in the winter. One minute it's really hot and sunny next minute the weather is bad again.

They need a lot less water than you would think. They propagate well from leaf cuttings just remove some leaves, leave them on the top of some dry soil sand mix and they will sprout new plants. That one is on its way out.

Take a few cuttings from it is my advice and when you water it, stick your finger in the holes at the bottom of the pot first. If the soil sticks to your finger, don't water it, its fine. Leave until the soil is bone dry then after a day or so being dry, drench it and leave it to dry all the way out again.

Put it outside June to September while the weather is nice but avoid putting it directly on the ground. One of those little baskets on wheels is a good bet as no pests will infest it.
