Stealthing

I was reading about this last night and the expansion of the law regarding rape.

Now anything that I have read about it suggests that it's only a crime against women. Now hubby had this situation where during intercourse his female partner removed the condom before he could comprehend what was going on and 9 months later he's a father and 20 years of child support payable. Now what's done is done but I guess my question is should it also be a crime against men as well?

Yes the law should be the same for whoever ‘stealths’ or whatever the correct term is!

What your husband?

Neondisco · 28/07/2021 13:45

Your husband?!

But anyway yes it should. As it happens to men, probably more often in sex with other men.

The thing I'd worry about is that men who regretted conceiving would claim stealthing.

BashfulClam · 28/07/2021 13:46

Surely he’d notice?

RiaOverTheRainbow · 28/07/2021 13:50

I think the key thing with stealthing in particular is the woman doesn't know the condom has been removed, and I imagine it's very rare to do it without the man noticing. However it's quite possible for a woman to sexually assault a man, and I'd be surprised if 'removing the condom and continuing sex without consent' wasn't already covered by that.

She removed the condom and he didnt notice???? Oh come on what a load of utter rubbish. Tore it/ made a hole in it, yes, totally it happens sadly and its an awful breech of trust, but you honestly think she could take it off without him feeling it then continued to have sex and he didnt feel it and on that one single occasion she magically got pregnant??? Yeah ok then......

Datingandnoideahowto · 28/07/2021 13:59

Oh come on. How did he not notice she took the condom off.

HyggeTygge · 28/07/2021 14:02

Why was he in a situation where he was having sex without comprehending what was going on?

billy1966 · 28/07/2021 14:07

I would take anything said by that prince of yours, with a pinch of salt, if this occurred when you were married
