Please help - Can you buy sandwich platters off the shelf in Costco without ordering?

My Morrisons food order has not been processed and need these for a wake on Friday so too late to re order from Morrisons.

Do Costco have them just to walk in and pick up without ordering? Could order today before 1.30 from Costco but pick up time would be 11:30 which is too late.

Thanks

I'm not sure about Costco but m&s food hall have ready made platters.

Yes but you risk there not being any.

When I went to Costco last there were loads of platters for sandwiches, sushi etc. Plenty out so I would think if you get there first thing you will be fine. You can also get platters of fruit and cupcakes.

Yes, go first thing. M&S as back up.

I've definitely seen platters of sandwiches ready to pick up in Costco, but it's pot luck as to whether there will be enough if you need a lot. But they do have people constantly preparing food behind a window in that section, so perhaps they can either make some while you wait, or if you telephone your local store and explain your predicament, maybe they can have some ready for later today or earlier tomorrow morning?

Alternatively there are sometimes some ready in M&S but again, only ever a couple of trays, so won't help if you need a lot. One thing we did at work when our normal caterer let us down for an external meeting was just bought the normal ready made sandwiches from M&S, added some crisps, sausage rolls, salad pots etc and it worked quite well - this would have been for about 20 people.

I'd also definitely complain to Morrisons - have they said why they've let you down at a difficult time. I know it doesn't make it right or solve your lack of catering, but in those circumstances, you'd expect an explanation and a gesture like a bouquet/voucher.

Place your Costco order online. I did that for a birthday cake.
