Which product do you use for proofreading and grammar corrections/suggestions? Grammarly seems to be the immediate choice..

Looking for feedback on other options. Ok with paying for subscription but needs to be super accurate, intuitive and user friendly..

thanks!

I just use the default one that comes with Microsoft. Don't most people?

(Professional writer here) I don’t — those things are always a bit clunky, and end up taking all the personality out of language. English is such a Frankenstein’s monster of a language that there’s an exception to pretty much every rule.

I sometimes use Hemingway to simplify complex sentences in short passages but that’s about it.

If you need proofreading I’d recommend hiring a human proofreader.

What are you needing proof read? I love Grammarly but would agree with PP that is isn't always correct and can take away the personality. This is fine for me as it use it to proof read scientific/technical reports and its great at pointing out things like if i've switched between american and UK spellings of technical works or if I've explained something in an overly wordy manner.
If its anything creative it probably won't be much more use than the one that is built into word/google docs
