New school shoes for year 7 boy - where from?

Usually buy him Geox, not a fan of Clark's as I don't think they last well for the price. Wondered if any other suggestions for shops/brands?

Thanks

Planning to buy leather Nike ones for my son. Comfortable, cool and smart.

Make sure you check the uniform policy.
Many schools don't permit 'trainer type' shoes, (even if sold in the 'school shoes' section from Clarks.)

Try sports direct my boys have warn them. They don't play as much sports at break time so lasted till their feet grew.

I also need to sort this out, they aren't allowed trainer style shoes and when I tried to get him some 'proper' shoes last term he really struggled with how uncomfortable they were.

Yes they say no trainer style, he's had the black Nike 'school shoes' in year 6 and he now wears them in the garden for football etc
Was just looking at M&S which seem reasonable. He does play football at break though so need something with a toughened toe area 😄😄

M & S seem to have quite a few good options

DS likes Adidas Superstars in black. They are more a shoe than a trainer but comfy, and OK for playing football in.
OK for school which says no trainers (worn this style for 3 years).

DS wore startright rhino in year 6, with a rubber toe cap. The go up to something like big size 8 so would cover you for year 7
