GDPR compliance?

Quick question for anyone in the know out there - I'm remortgaging and rental income forms part of my income that I'm declaring...the broker already has evidence of this through bank statements and my self assessment tax returns for the last 2 years, but now they're also requesting the tenancy agreements.

Obviously the signed tenancy agreements contain personal information about my tenants - where they live, phone numbers and email addresses - am I actually allowed to pass this on to the broker or is that incompatible with GDPR?

Would they accept with names redacted?

try sending them in with names/details redacted & see what they say.

Thanks yes I'll try that!

If you rent the properties via an estates agent they might be able to help with supporting documents

It's annoying because I don't see how they help anyway, given all other proof of that income I have provided, especially the HMRC stuff which shows rental income, expenses and tax paid. They're Scotland tenancy agreements where tenants have the right to give 28 days notice to leave at any point so it's not like they will demonstrate future guaranteed income for any meaningful period of time. 🤷

Redact the names and send afterwards
