Help with cat in the garden, terrorising our rabbits

Hello,

Does anyone have any advice re a very annoying cat that keeps coming into our garden? It can't get to our rabbits (connected shed and run) but it puts its paws through the bars and freaks them out. They can die of shock. We lost one a week or so ago and he was aroudn that day. We shoo him away, have cat deterrants and squirt him with a water pistol. Feel mean about he last one but tough. He came into our kitchen and jumped on our table the other day.

He used to have a collar and bell but does not know. I don't know anyone with a dog atm who I could ask to come around to leave scent (which would also freak the rabbits out I know).

Driving me mad as I am still not convinced that the lovely rabbit we lost was not due to him.

Thanks @sueelleker, I had thought about that but that's a lot of wall (either side). Will look again. So bloody irritated with this cat and its owner (it did used to at least have a collar and bell).
