Covent Garden bar/restaurant from the 80s/90s

Hoping the collective MN memory can help me!

Have been trying to remember the name of a restaurant/bar that was on the corner of (I think) Henrietta Street in the 89s/90s. It was the opposite corner to where the Ivy Cafe is now.

I seem to remember it being a burger/cocktails type place. Possibly containing a man's name - but not Joe Allen's and not Maxwell's. Family member insists it was a Hard Rock Cafe but I don't think it was.

Can anyone help? Google isn't bringing up anything from the right period.

Ed’s Easy Diner?

I was going to suggest Joe Allen's... There used to be a Dome cafe/bar in Covent Garden but can't remember if it was on Henrietta Street.

I think I went in the 90s but can't remember the name either! Am picturing tables outside and deep blue colour scheme?

There was an Ed's Diner near where I worked in SoHo in the late 90s, loved it!

It's Rock Garden! Have just searched it on google images. I think memories of different places have become conflated but it's def that one.

Serious hit of Nostalgia! Anyone remember Peppermint Park and Coconut Grove?!! Let alone the ‘real’ nightclubs like Gossips, Le Kilt, Legends, Zanzibar etc (really showing my age)?!!

Rumours in Covent Garden was owned by a cousin in law.

I was about to ask if anyone remembered Peppermint Park! Going there was a massive treat when I was little.

My husband and his best friend were the owners of Rumours.We had three branches,but Covent Garden was the originsl
i certainly have copies of the cocktail menus and mire memorabilia

My husband and partner were the owners after Peppermint Park..Power Staion.We then sold to a company fronted by Cynthia Lennon…it was called Lennon

When I worked there in '80 - '82 the owners were Tony and Warren Jacobs , manager Bob Stevens .
