my ds5 wears nappies day and night and recently has developed a spotty red rash on his bum. The normal baby rash creams aren't helping. is there anything else i can use?

Have you tried metanium, the one in the yellow tube? I found it amazing when mine wore nappies

This one, it drains a bit if you get it on clothes though but it's amazing

I swear by metanium as well, just a thin layer of it does the trick. We bulk buy it from Amazon as it’s so useful to have around the house

You could try a thin layer of canesten.

If you have tried all the usual barrier creams it might be worth asking for Cavilon Barrier cream

Desitin, I order it online from the States, it smells like cod liver oil but works brilliantly in a matter of hours. It works on all ages, we used it on my fil towards the end when he was in nappies.

Ive used them all :( I plan to go back to pharmacy tomorrow and ask but i think i might have to contact his incontinence nurse/gp
