nappy rash on 5 yr old

my ds5 wears nappies day and night and recently has developed a spotty red rash on his bum. The normal baby rash creams aren't helping. is there anything else i can use?

Have you tried metanium, the one in the yellow tube? I found it amazing when mine wore nappies

This one, it drains a bit if you get it on clothes though but it's amazing

I swear by metanium as well, just a thin layer of it does the trick. We bulk buy it from Amazon as it’s so useful to have around the house

If you have tried all the usual barrier creams it might be worth asking for Cavilon Barrier cream

Desitin, I order it online from the States, it smells like cod liver oil but works brilliantly in a matter of hours. It works on all ages, we used it on my fil towards the end when he was in nappies.

Ive used them all :( I plan to go back to pharmacy tomorrow and ask but i think i might have to contact his incontinence nurse/gp
