Binge watching (for about the 8th time). Obvs Two Cathedrals is up there and anything with Josh and Donna but any other candidates?

I love Twenty Five. And Shibboleth.

I used to show Shibboleth to my classes for capital punishment debate but it's annoyingly intercut with Josh's stag party hangover scenes!!!

So many good ones, but I think Commencement is my favourite.

17 People (when Toby figures out Jed is hiding something big that could keep him from running for a second term) is pretty bloody good.

The Crackpots and These Women and two cathedrals, tbh all of them! I've rewatcjed it so many times and have my DVDs signed by the best president ever

By funny coincidence my DS has the same name as one of the characters same first and middle name , but not named after the character.

Have you listened to the west wing weekly podcast, where Joshua Mallina (was Will Bailey in TWW) and Richie (Keshirwe? Sp?) go through each episode of all 7 seasons, talk to cast and crew, and basically worship at the feet of TWW?

Had to look up the name of my favourite episode; it's Celestial Navigation. But in this house we call it The Secret Plan to Fight Inflation.

I’m also binge watching on All4 just now. I haven’t re-watched it since pre-Trump, and it absolutely reinforces the horror/s of his Presidency. I don’t have a favourite episode as such, but I always cry buckets when Simon Donovan (Mark Harmon) is killed. Out of a brilliant ensemble cast, CJ is my favourite character, and the background music being Hallelujah just makes it such emotional viewing.
I also love the episode where Toby (my second favourite) organises the funeral of the dead homeless veteran.
I’m 66, seen a lot of TV over the years and I rank The West Wing (and The Sopranos) equally number one.

I remember watching Mr Willis of Ohio the day after he was elected and thinking about how far we have fallen :(

Isaac and Ishmael is one I'll always remember

My favourite tv series of all time (so far). DH and I have watched it about 7 times all the way through. DD 14 has started watching it and has a soft spot for Danny. We constantly quote from it, any good news and we “drink from the keg of glory” anything doesn’t go our way “that happened fast” - stamp episode.

I was watching series 6 last night and just kept thinking how quick and intelligent it still was, even after Sorkin stopped writing it. Brilliant episode when they're trying o help Belarus write a constitution and Toby is having so much fun. I always feel like he'd have been a great college professor. I was always a bit less keen on the later ones as the original core cast fragment so much but the more I rewatch it I'm liking it more.

For a bit of light relief I like the one when they are on the campaign trail, forget about time differences and where Josh and Toby have a bet, Toby loses and the consequence is that any person he speaks to that day, he has to say "my name's Toby Ziegler, I work at the Whitehouse". Think I'm remembering that rightly, it's been a while since I've seen it. Toby was my favourite character.

We Killed Yamamoto is full of tension as Bartlet is deciding what to do about the Qumari defence minister. There is a scene with Leo and Fitz (one of my favourite characters) where Fitz compliments Leo on his new shampoo, because it makes his hair look fluffy, while they are sitting opposite each other in the Situation Room. It is LOL hilarious, but then TWW was full of such moments (CJ going to the dentist and Josh doing the “bweefing” one of the best).
