To swim or not to swim???

It's eight o'clock here and 32 degrees. I'm trying to muster up the enthusiasm to put down my kindle and drink and go upstairs and change into my bikini.
DD2 is in her room on her phone so would need to cajole her into action which might take a while.
I know I should but really can't be bothered.
What I want to know is will I regret it when I'm all wet, especially when i washed my hair earlier. Or will I be glad I did because it would give me the briefest relief from the heat.
Am inclined to go for it but really can't be bothered.
Other option is to just strip off and dive in hoping DD won't notice.
She's due to watch some minecraft live event at nine online with a friend in U.K. but it's pretty boring in the pool by myself.

What do you think??

Jump in the pool

Where is the pool, in your back garden?
I'm debating going down to the sea for a swim but I can't be bothered walking home afterwards and its probably too busy to park the car so I won't bother. But if it was just outside my back door I would for sure.

We did dive in in the end, not as gracefully as that clip, more french and Saunders style.
It was slightly tempered by DD2 setting a timer to make sure she didn't miss the beginning of the live event she is watching.
I so miss the days when DD1 & 2 (15 & 20) would come out here for the summer holidays and have to be pulled out of the pool to eat or sleep.
It's just not the same now DD1 is too busy to join us and DD2 has ditched the inflatable unicorns for technology.
I long for the holidays when I was their world but I take any snippet they are willing to throw my way.
I guess it's just solitary swims under the moonlight here on in.
Even DH is too busy to join us this summer Sad

Teanandakitkat the pool is in my Mum’s garden at the foot of the mountains in Spain.
I love sea swimming but unfortunately DD2 detests the beach so doubt we'll even make it there this summer, it's only a ten minute drive.
DD1 loves the sea so if she were here we'd escape to watch the sunset and have a moonlit swim.
Nothing like the sound of the waves on the shore on a barmy night!
