Can anyone help with gift ideas for 7/8 year old girl please.

I need to buy a gift for a seven year old girl. I don’t know the little girl or her likes/dislikes and don’t really have any way of finding out. The gift has to fit in an A4 envelope. The little girl doesn’t speak english, so books or anything with instructions are tricky. Over the years, I’ve bought colouring books, sticker books, pens, items with her name on, children’s jewellery and hair accessories but now I’m stuck and would really appreciate any suggestions. Budget is around £5-£10 but happy to spend more.

Thank you

Poppets or anything fidget related!

My 8yo DD likes those pop board fidgets, card games, sketch pads/stationery, toroidz fidget rings and currently loving water balloons!

Thank you, that’s incredibly helpful, I hadn’t thought of that!

You could definitely fit these fidget things in an envelope! My dd and her friends all go mad for them!

Hobbycraft do a lovely little set of beads for making necklaces etc for about £8.

Lego dots.

My dd is 8.
She suggests
A popit (£3, the works or £4 the entertainer)
Top trumps. Not too girly subject
Knitting needles and yarn
Beads and thread for bracelet
Fidget spinner
Photos of something
Fancy pens and pencils
Phone (it will fit...)
Pretty socks and knickers
Tee shirt
Hair comb and clips/bobbles
Window painting kit. About a pound in hobbycraft.
Cartoon dvd

Ok, some of them might be a bit too "english" or expensive.
Some might be good?

Definitely a fidget! Or a craft set.

Let us know what you pick?
Dd hopes it's a phone!

Haha I don’t think her family would be happy if we got her a phone!

I’m going for a bracelet making kit and a fidget spinner. Thanks so much for the advice especially to ifix’s dd! I’ve got some ideas from you for Christmas and next year too!
