What do you wear in your hair for a wedding?

Are fascinations still a thing? I feel like I'm so out of touch!

No idea I’m afraid, but you reminded me of an overheard conversation at a wedding my Mum and I attended in Romania some years ago:

Friend 1: I like those things they’re wearing on their heads (fascinators), is that an English thing?

Friend 2 (who had been to my English wedding): Yes, they all wear them at English weddings. Young women wear small ones and the older you get the larger one you wear. Very old women wear big hats.

Friend 1: that’s so nice

But when I looked back at my wedding photos, it was absolutely true!

My best friend abs I always used to joke about wearing giant hats to weddings. I wore a top hat to hers and she wore a giant studded swan on her head to mine

I'm a hat person but can't find anything I like for an upcoming wedding, so I'm going to find a big sparkly claw clip for a loose updo.
