Gift ideas for couple

I would like to get our neighbours a gift to say thank you for being so wonderful. They are such lovely, kind people and they don't have it easy themselves. Budget may be up to £50-£100.

They are early 40s, money isn't great at the moment as one is on long term sick and still quite unwell. Their mobility isn't great and they struggle to taste food, so food related gifts or things to go and 'do' are probably off the table. Covid has been really hard due to one being CEV and that has made it super stressful for them both. Would like to get them something they wouldn't get themselves, they are very generous to others but I think much less themselves. One is super practical and hands on, likes being busy and doing stuff. And the other loves cooking, baking, and chatting to people.

Does anyone have any suggestions that they could throw my way? Thank you Smile

How about a wicker basket from somewhere like TK Max, then you put some treats in it, I think would be very much appreciated.

You could put some gardening seeds, gloves etc in for one and baking goodies for the other and then other bits they might like x

Maybe a voucher for a local supermarket then the gift will be a little ease in their budget for once.

They will then be able to get something nice for themselves, whether it is food, drink (even not being able to taste much doesn't mean they don't need to eat) or buy something like a household thing that they could do with but can't afford themselves.

Better than random things that they might not want or need.

Forgot to say, put the voucher in a card with a nice message thanking them for whatever it is that they've helped you with.
