Only 4 fingers

Why is it on cartoons the humans always only seem to have 4 fingers ???Does anyone know the reason why , it always draws my attention 🤣

its because if you put 5 on it looks like a bunch of bananas
also, it's one less thing to animate

They’re easier to draw (goes back to when cartoons were drawn by hand)

Google says that it's easier to animate and cartoon figures are usually drawn much more simply anyway.

"Everybody shortens it to three fingers and a thumb... just simply for an economy of line. When you're having to animate 24 drawings per second, dropping one finger makes a huge difference," Marsh said.
