Why does this butterfly keep coming in my room

If even it’s the same one.

3 times I’ve had to help a peacock butterfly out of my room. Several times it’s come as far as the window, hovered at the gap and flown off again.

Very strange and that has only been today and yesterday it’s done this.

So why are butterflies suddenly attracted to my room?

Grin

If I suddenly start laying eggs I’ll panic

Because the window is open?

YoComoManzanas · 23/07/2021 15:49

Aw! No help, just aw!
Peacocks lay eggs on nettles. Have you grown a nettle patch in your room? They also eat flower nectar. Do you have flowers?
Maybe it just likes your perfume.

Soubriquet · 23/07/2021 15:50

No nettles or flowers in my room and I don’t wear perfume so it’s not that either

Already had to save it once from the bloody cat. Seems it hasn’t learned it’s lesson

My mil said when her mil and most recently her sil passed away she had butterflies come into her room.. She took it as messages from them from beyond that they were okay. I personally think she is crazy regardless of whether there is any truth I it or not(I don't like her very much but try not to show it). If I go before her I won't be sending her any butterflies I can tell you that, might send her a few frogs though Smile

I’d send wasps Grin

Ah, I shall steal your idea!

I was told it’s deceased loved ones coming to visit. I’ve turned up at my grans wake them later on at her house an identical one was there. I also had one hand in my car on the day she died, very strange.

I was coming to say exactly the same, visits from someone who has died.
