Dd wants to "make" an embroidered jacket. Found this on esty. Do you cut round it and then sew it on. Or can we use fabric glue? Thanks.

It could be any number of fixings.

Some have an iron fusable interface on the back. But it says vintage so maybe not

Assuming it is all cut out and ready to go (if not then decide how it would look best, the amount of stitching reuired and cut it off it's backing/net) :

Pin it in place - pins should not be at the edge of the applique but in the middle of eachsegment. You could use craft or fabric glue, but check that it remains flexible once dried.

Decide on the colour/s you want to use and sew around all of the edges with a blanket stitch, use the applique edge as a guide for size.

Thank you. She has a denim jacket she wants it on. To go with her white dress. Seems the fashion atm.
