I have one that is great and not too big but bloody heavy and I can’t lift it up and down the stairs without wrecking my back! I want once for dc rooms that get too hot. Yes I do the ice in front of fan business and all the other things so not looking for suggestions on how to keep cool, just if someone has found a light ish air con unit?

The Meacocool MC 7000r was mentioned in a review of cooling appliances on This Morning this week as being quite light, I looked at it on Amazon and it looks like it weighs 20.5 kg so not that light but still lighter than others I looked at in the past, the heaviness is what puts me off also

@UmteenthUser thanks for that. The one o already have is 26.5kgs and it’s fine to roll around but can not lift it up and down stairs safely!

I’m away at the moment, what is the equivalent of 6.5kgs…. Trying to work out how much lighter that is likely to be Grin

If you got another bit lighter one could you then have one upstairs and one downstairs all the time, as you already have one, most of the ones I looked at have been about 26/27 kg,

Looks like it has sold out on Amazon, probably after being on This Morning they had a rush on them, they were there the other day £279.

@UmteenthUser I can’t even see it on there?
I want a lighter one so that it can go in my room and then take it downstairs when it gets too hot to work in, so not daily….

Weve got this one. Fits on the bedside table/coffee table. Powerful little thing. Can be used on the mains and it also charges up and the battery can last up to 9 hours on the lowest setting.

@TheWeeDonkeys I have seen these but don’t they make every thing damp? How close exactly do you need it to help you sleep? I don’t have a surface right beside my bed?
