My dc are doing some workbooks & twinkl wordsearches/crosswords etc to keep the brain ticking over, reading loads of library also... Anyone else?

Have a 5 yo that has just finished reception. She’s worked too hard on her reading and writing to let that slip so will be doing reading every day and trying to get her to write about her day in a journal. I also want to do some maths with her but things like playing shop with real money or practical stuff. Also want to spend a bit of time on telling the time.

Nope, just catching up on the things he has missed out on such as socialising and days out. He reads every night anyway and that is sufficient.

I know what answer I’d get if I ASked DS13 who has ASD to do extra work... he’s been shoved from pillar to post like everyone else except his brain can’t handle the changes. Dd8 does workbooks of her own back so she will continue but I say it will be sporadic.
