Please can you recommend where I can buy from? I'm sick of having to have bra straps on show with straps vest tops. I don't want really clingy tops though and that's all I can seem to find

Thank you

Bravissimo do them.

TheQueef · 22/07/2021 08:30

I've recently got a three pack from Amazon, a bit low at the front but the balcony support is ok.
Only spaghetti straps though, following in case anyone has seen wide strap with good support!

NCTDN · 22/07/2021 08:31

@TheQueef can you share that link?

@TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross I looked at the bravissimo ones but though they might be a bit clingy over my belly Blush

Following with interest!

Hate wearing a bra in the heat, but being rather large of nork it is necessary!

They wash nice and are long enough in the body, have stretch though so not loose.
I've got a big bust and they're a bit Dolly Parton there is only a thin pad but it does front and centre 'em

NCTDN · 22/07/2021 08:38

Ah I looked at them but thought they would be too tight.

I second Bravissimo.

They're stopping their clothing line soon, but I think the vest tops are staying.

TheQueef · 22/07/2021 08:48

I was tempted by Bravissimo but the price and reviews put me off.
I wear an F cup but don't really want underwired with a clasp.

So higher neck, non padded, non wired, bigger cup size, non elastic with wide straps should be easy to get Grin

Mmm sounds similar!

M&s do one with high cotton content so less clingy. £9.99each. Long in the body. Soft adjustable straps with lace edging on a v front. Weirdly my white ones I needed to shorten ( cut and resew) the straps while the black ones were perfect from the start.

NCTDN · 22/07/2021 10:45

That sounds good- can't see it on the website though

I’m a 32FF and find the Marks and Spencer’s secret support ones are great.

peridito · 27/07/2021 20:42

Some of Bravisimo's nightwear tops could work as day wear .

they are expensive but do wash well and last for ever

GoWalkabout · 27/07/2021 21:14

The trouble with the bravissimo ones is

  • you choose the bra size not the size so can be wrong on the body
  • the inner bra is weird and crumples up (and I keep getting a chafed nipple from the lining, sorry tmi)
  • they are just not that great for the price even though on paper they are exactly what I am looking for.
NCTDN · 27/07/2021 21:41

I tried one on in m&s today and it was really clingy SadNot sure if there's only that one style- it was with the lingerie?

Asquith do some that I don't find too clingy. www.asquithlondon.com/tops/vests/

AnUnlikelyCombination · 27/07/2021 23:02

If you’re a standard size Uniqlo have some. They don’t work for a small band / large cup combo, though.
