DH has been sulking all day from an argument yesterday and the sulk continues. Apart from when the argument flared up again.

Plus arguments at work (because they can't see I'm right obviously)

Maybe it's just my horoscope was all wrong for today.

Anyway it's shit and I can't even offload to DH because he's not talking to me.

So I'm offloading to MN!

Thanks for the flowers. Yes silence and walking away is the default response to conflict. Usually followed by a Sorry. But I guess he's not sorry or backing down and not am I. (Also not backing down at work, though obvs completely different situations).

Argument was about whether teenage DC could go out all day today with their mates in extreme heat weather warning in our park of UK today. He was for no. I was for Yes, trust them. DC has just got back saying what a great day it was. (DH already in bed)

He's being ridiculous. Teens are at an age where they can make their own decisions and for what it's worth I think you were right to say it's fine for them to go.

I've cried today, more about the work situation in fact, but feeling like I couldn't talk normally to DH about that this morning compounded the emotion.

So.on seeing me crying he apologised completely.
