I've posted here because I've had no luck with replies on parenting
It's been happening for 3 weeks now. I usually just sit in the garden and when theres a noise she will come to me upset, I dont run to her I let her come to me and i just reasure that there is nothing to be scared of and that she is safe. It was getting a little better, she began looking in the sky to see the plane and the frantic effort to get to me werent as much.
I've been at my nan and grandads and they tend to run to her and go awww, shhh it's okay and such. When she wants to be picked up all the time they go awwww come here etc. and now it's gotten worse. It went from being just airplanes to now motor bikes, trimmers, sometimes a dog barking. Even the faunitest of noise thay we have to really listen for she is scared of. Why? She is suddenly becoming so clingy, we co sleep. Usually when she wakes for milk I'll just turn round and give her some and shes off to sleep, now she is sitting up and jumping on me to hug me tightly. I have to lie down with her on my chest and hug her otherwise she will just have a fit and I'm too tired to deal with it. She wants to be held more now, comes to your legs and puts her arms up. This is fine I love to cuddle her but it's becoming all the time. Is she being coddled? Is this just a normal stage? Is she starting to get separation anxiety?
