My current one is so slow and battery life is non existent..need to keep it plugged in basically. So I want a new laptop but I don't want a super machine nor a cheapy piece of crap that will be slow on 2-3 years time.
I just want it for using Google, doing transcription work and maybe the odd wee game (but nothing like assassin's creed etc more like paganitzu haha if you know what I mean)
From what I've seen I don't think Chromebooks seem to be very useful? They look restrictive at what apps you can have? And I don't like apple products.
So I think I just need a run of the mill HP/Dell or something.
What's a good price? £200-£300 seems cheap so I imagine those laptops would have a short life? Do I need to look for something more £600-700
