Hopefully someone can help me with some advice.
I am a single parent with two kids and I’m on Univers Credit. I am looking for a job so I receive the Jobseeker’s Allowance. I get housing benefit and council tax support.
I want to move to another town and it’s in another county as well. I’m not sure what will ja open with my universal credit. I understand that I just have to report change of circumstances once I move but what happens with the house benefit element? Do I need to take my new tenancy agreement to the council and apply for the housing benefit? I’m scared I’ll be left with no money and unable to afford to pay the rent and the new property. Any advice would be greater appreciated xx
