Which Contraceptive pill is similar to implant

Hi Posting here for traffic

I want to go on the pill, i have had two implants before and got on well with them but I don’t want to go back on the implant as I don’t have children and I would like them before 3 years and from past experience it’s a hassle getting the implant taken out before then

I would like to try the pill which contains the same hormomes as the implant.. I think this is the mini pill?

Which one would you say is the best ? I really don’t want to put on weight as I am already over weight

Am I right in saying mini pill stops periods all together ?

Mini pill may or may not stop your periods. Some women get erratic bleeding or even heavy bleeding. Cerazette stopped my periods.

I second cerazette, that's what I had both before and after my 3 successive implants. Think the NHS have now switched to generic brand, I'm now on cerelle but it's the same mini pill. Re periods and weight gain, it's stopped my periods but not had massive issues with weight (same as my implants). I do know some women who have gained weight with the mini pill though! If my experience is anything to go by, if you were fine on the implant you'll be fine with cerazette/cerelle. Good luck with them!

Me and dd are both on norgestron. Stopped her periods but I still have mine. No side effects I can think of.
