Has anyone been to a parkdean resort? With a caravan that sleeps 8… what are the twin and double rooms like? Are they tiny 😳 big enough for two or one cots? Blush

We have been to one. No room for cots in either room. But I think the are different sizes. You would have to speak to site you are interested in in to see your options.

We stayed at a Haven site that provided a cot and there was room for it in the double room.

They are rather tiny! Just enough room to stand in between the twin beds side on, can't imagine Could fit a cot most likely in the living room with the pull down bed?

No room in the bedrooms in a caravan at a park Dean resort, you might have to have the cot in the living room (which usually can double up as a bedroom with sofa bed type thing).
Exception might be in some platinum caravans, they are a lot more spacious

As people have said - they are tiny! We used cot sides for ours as the only place for a travel cot is in the living room usually

PoppityPop · 18/07/2021 16:14

The lodges are much more spacious.

Oh god! I was expecting they’d be rather small… front room it is!

When ours were little and in cots we would turn one single bed on top of the other if we weren't using them, and then that gave us space for a travel cot. Mind you, we didn't have to do that for long as they were both out of cots at 14 months so we just took a bed guard on holiday instead- much easier!

Nojobforoldmums · 18/07/2021 16:49

Can you move the beds, or are they fixed? Ie can you push two twins together?

Furryscoob · 18/07/2021 18:36

If you phone the park before you go they will sometimes take a single bed out of one of the bedrooms to give you enough room to put a cot in.

The single beds are tiny & terrible for a wriggly sleeper, we put them together for my 4 year old to make a bigger bed after she spent the first night falling out the bed.

MyDcAreMarvel · 18/07/2021 18:37

You can push them together @Nojobforoldmums

We went to Parkdean in Looe in June, 6 berth caravan, not enough room to swing a kitten, never mind a cat. Travel cot had to be in living area. Our one year old slept great unless we were watching Euro footie (every night) and our cheers were not so stifled either. Our little boy adapted though, as did we. You get what you pay for and I think it does mention somewhere on the website blurb that travel cots will be most likely situated in living area x

You can push them together *@Nojobforoldmums*
Thanks.

It depends on the caravan/site. We're in one at the moment and you could fit one cot in the double room easily, not sure 2 would.
