No eyebrows!

I had chemo five years ago and lost all my hair. Everything grew back except for my eyebrows. There's just the odd misshapen hair that I usually tweeze. Anyway, we are having a heatwave and my face is sweating, it runs straight into my eyes, which are constantly stinging!
Any ideas how I can stop this? 🙏🏻

A setting spray may work for make up.
There are also products called Tattoo brows, I think Maybelline do them.

Alternatively henna eyebrows might last longer, or micro blading long term.

Not stylish but could you fashion a 1990s Andre Aggassi towelling headband?

Sorry you have this problem

chickensouporwine · 18/07/2021 14:11

Oh shit sorry, I got the wrong end of the stick

chickensouporwine · 18/07/2021 14:11

I'm pretty sure you can get face deodorant and blotting papers too for sweat.

Maybe something like these? Stretchy headbands that can cover part of your forehead? Moisture wicking as well!

Wondering if botox in your forehead/hairline might stop up the sweat glands, like people with hyperhidrosis (sp) who get botox in their underarms?

ohsuzannah · 18/07/2021 14:23

Lol @chickensouporwine!
I do draw them in when I have makeup on, but most of the time I don't bother because I have a fringe Wink

Love the headband idea, will buy one today, as the heatwave is going on until the end of the week.
Will also try a facial deodorant, Amazon here I come!
You lot are brilliant!

More of a long term solution, but you can get hair transplanted from your scalp to your eyebrows! Although you have to keep trimming it, as it would still grow long, like scalp hair! Not cheap, but likely your only option to get real hair back there, as after 5 years it's unlikely to regrow now.

A headband? Just on the hairline.
With the hair brushed back and fluffed up they look really good.

I tried to link you a picture, but my IT skills are not good!

I have the same problem. My eyebrows did grow back a bit after chemo but they are so sparse they are useless. I'm ok with drawing them on but I hadn't twigged until I read your post that they were the reason I keep getting sweat in my eyes!

Thumbs up!
