Help! How do I get wee out of a Mattress??

My poor dog last night had an accident on our bed when I got up to go to the loo.

He is old and confused and I don't really know, but anyway he's peed all over my side of the bed and it stinks. I've stripped the bed and the stain is quite big.

Would dr beckmans carpet cleaner work?

I'd get an enzyme cleaner from the pet shop

I have been in this situation: sympathies.

I put the stinky side of the mattress over the bath, ran the shower over it for a while, poured bio washing powder over it, scrubbed it, then rinsed it with the shower for about five minutes.

We slept on an air bed until it dried.

Bicarb of soda. Literally gets rid of everything. Sprinkle. Let it dry - leave as long as you can. hoover repeat if necessary. There's also a mattress cleaning spray from kleenex that was the only thing that got tom cat wee put my bed (before I discovered bicarb )

Blot out as much of the wee as you can then mix white vinegar with water and washing liquid (I used clothes washing stuff, I don’t know if dairy liquid would have the same effect but smells nicer!) and spray all over stain, leave for around 15mins, blot dry again and then cover with her bicarbonate powder stuff.

Sorry for typos trying to get children to sleep!
