Anyone had 2nd jab at drop in centre with no appointment?

I had my first jab 10 weeks ago - my 2nd jab is in two weeks (I have an appointment for this). There is a drop in vaccination centre being run tomorrow and I am very tempted to go. It is not in the same place as where my appointments are.
I have tried to see if there are appointments that can be booked at the drop in centre or if you can only just turn up. The nhs website requires you to cancel your existing appointment before looking at what is available in other centres. I rang 119 and they can only see what I can on the internet. After all this boring story, I have two questions
Can you just rock up to a drop in centre if you have an appointment for another centre
Also, I would like to be able to show I am double vaccinated. Will me going to two centres confuse it all?

My wife did with no problem. She phoned and cancelled the booked appointment and went to the drop in centre. They give you a card with the numbers on so you can show it as evidence.

I rocked up at the testing centre. I had my NHS number and details with me. They found me. Gave me my second jab and told me to wait in the car. Whilst waiting in the car I cancelled my other appointment.
You need the NHS app. Enter your information there and your jabs will appear in time. I had my second and it appeared next day.

Yep just turn up. I did, got my second 5 weeks after my first. I had a second one book for a few weeks later at a different place but cancelled this afterwards. Both vaccine show up on my NHS app, no confusion etc.

The NHS website has changed so you can see other appointments before cancelling the one you have booked.
You will be fine to turn up and get one without an appointment at a drop in centre and cancel your other after, especially given the length of time between doses. I know of people who have done this.

Yes dh had his second at a drop in yesterday no problem.

My DD did this - she had a second jab booked but went to the drop in centre with NHS number and ID, got the jab with no problem and by the time she got out her appt had been cancelled. So yes, you can do this.

Yes dh and I had our 2nd at the local drop in centre. It was exactly 8 weeks since our 1st. You just need to make sure they have the same vaccine you had previously. Nhs sent an email and text message a few days later and cancelled the one we had previously booked.

I went to a drop in centre after 8 weeks and cancelled my appointment when I got home. They found me on the system straight away and I was in and out in no time. Glad I didn’t wait.
