Isolating for 10 days - inspire me, how shall I fill my time?

I’m working for two of the days as there is some admin stuff I can do, otherwise, due to the nature of my job, I can’t WFH.

I’ll do a little bit in the garden, otherwise what am I going to do with myself? Stuck with two miserable teens (one of whom has covid), dh will be working full time. Already plan to: bake, read, do some home admin, watch tv etc.
Usually I’d be delighted to have 10 days enforced off but I’m feeling really glum about it this time.

Thanks!

Do you like jigsaws? Painting by numbers? Sorry that you have to isolate and hope your teenager feels better soon

I'm sure I can dig out a jigsaw, forgot about those, thanks!

Can you ask work if there is any more that you can usefully do at home, e.g. admin stuff that others might do otherwise?

If it were me, I'd aim to get some exercise around the garden, crochet, and make a big effort with the language that I've been learning on and off via Duolingo. With various birthdays coming up, I'd aim to get ahead of myself by researching and ordering presents and getting them all wrapped and ready. If it wasn't so effing hot, I might look at doing a bit of a housework blitz.

In theory I'd aim to do some physical exercise (a work out off You Tube or something) and follow it up with some pilates or yoga to really stretch me out
I'd promise myself I'd work through that backlog of e-mails
Then the back log of e-mails and jobs I've got on a waiting list to do with my volunteering
Then I'd get the paint out and touch up some bits around the house I've been meaning to for ages
Then I'd pain the fence in the garden
Then I'd get round to sorting out the photo albums and the photos I've printed out over the last 7 years or so
Then I'd read a good book
and I'd spend some time on-line looking to see if there is ANYWHERE I can get some interest on savings
Then I'd do a bit of baking
I'd write some letter to friends
I'd give my house a good spring clean.

In reality I'd probably work my way though a back log of TV and films I've been meaning to see and not get very much done on my to do list at all.

I'm isolating as of today until next Sat. It's the first week of my summer holiday (teacher) so I'm usually up for spring cleaning and decorating.

I'm going to enjoy the summer weather we have at the moment in my garden. Read some books. And do some of the deep cleaning I have planned. But I can't get out for the new carpet I promised dd2 or for any decorating supples.
