Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

First day of the summer holidays here & it's a beautiful day. I'm just drinking a coffee & listening to the world go by outside.

I'm doing some baking today for a friend whose colleague is hosting a bake sale on Monday, to raise funds for SSAFA. Dd2 isn't fussed about baking with me. I'll do some washing too, to take advantage of the weather.

Dd1's still in bed at the mo & I expect that's where she'll be for a while yet.

I've offered the paddling pool out in case they fancy a dip but got a grumpy "no" from dd2 & dd1 says it's embarrassing whenever I ask 🙄

I think today's going to be hard work so I'm going to leave them to it & crack on with my stuff!

I have been up and loaded the washing machine and the dishwasher, I am now back in bed awaiting delivery of a cup of coffee.

Then I will take the no longer teen but twenty seems too grown up to get his jab, will go to the farm shop for supplies, then sit in the garden with a glass of wine.

I'm on my second lot of washing. I've mopped the floors. I might dust, I should have done that before mopping but I didn't. I've done my weights. Might do some yoga. Other than that, I'm on mn, fb, ig and may watch some films/or a series. I've lost interest in TV this week though. I might sunbathe. I'll cook later. I'm trying to decide what to make to use up stuff in my fridge so it doesn't waste. I'm thinking peppers stuffed with diced pesto mushrooms topped with mozzarella and salad. So basically, not a lot 😂

How gorgeous is the weather.Load of washing on. Coffee crumpets and last nights Eastenders now. Need to jump in the shower to take my mum out. Getting my hair cut and then out for tea to celebrate the start of the school holidays. Have a fabulous sunny day everyone ☀️⛱🌊🌡

Playdate with lovely kids.
So will set up a few outdoor games but they all roam around here happily with out much fuss.
Netflix tonight when dc in bed. Also need to get a few groceries (like I do most days lately)

I've made another coffee; my excuse is waiting for this load to finish. In reality, I'm quite comfy sitting here

Today consists of doing bits around the house such as scrubbing bath, sink, microwave and hoovering the place. A supermarket shops needs doing at some point before I can do any meal prep. Other than that just a wing it sort of day!

Off to watch a pre-season friendly football match of my favourite team! Slight trepidation that the heat is going to be a killer but hardcore fan and all that!

Oh tackled the laundry yesterday and also had a nice shower last night so feeling less irritable.

Sod all, tested positive along with son yesterday so sitting outside and trying to keep well away from DH who is in the kitchen bottling home brew beer. Only up side is only he is allowed in the kitchen so is going to have to do all the drinks and food for us for ten days unless of course he tests positive too. Oh and only me and DS 2 allowed in the living room with the tv so we can watch whatever we fancy without his input !

DS had football training this morning. We've just got back home and I'm going to make some omelettes for lunch. This afternoon I need to clean the bathroom and I said I'd make cookies with DS.

Had a tidy up this morning but it was too hot for anything too industrious. Sorted out some arrangements for money for DD over summer (a basic allowance plus extra for chores to top it up). Stood in the garden and discussed with DH what we'd like to do with it if we had a spare £10k! Got showered and dressed. Popped to get petrol and hoover out car at garage to remove half the beach DD seemed to have brought home with her recently. Popped to the shop for a couple of things. Had lunch. Now sitting in the garden, well shaded as I have terrible sunburn from the other day. Just contemplating going to get my book but it's all the way in the house and upstairs and I am at the bottom of the garden.

Currently washing some rubbish on TV my husband was watching and he's fallen asleep, won't move a muscle to change it as he's been working hard recently and deserves a cat nap.
Done a bit of shopping today and had sushi for lunch.
