Who had this baby book? What is it called?

My youngest was so obsessed with it I still know it by heart and he's 11! I'd love to get it for my friend's new baby but I can't find it!

It starts like this:

Say nothing, quietly creep, the babies are all fast asleep.
All babies? Small babies? Tall babies?
Yes and hairy babies, fairy babies, beary babies...

Anyone?

Sorry no help but it sounds lovely! Have you any recollection of the publisher? I think it sounds like something Priddy would have published- I think that is the company who published some of my oldest daughters favourite baby books, including a touch and feel one called Lullaby Baby which I loved. Good luck !

Possibly All Asleep by Joanna Walsh? www.goodreads.com/book/show/2838056-all-asleep Words that I can see are similar but not exact. Front cover may help you rule out yes or no if you can remember that?

Don’t know whether it’s the same, but that All Asleep sounds lovely - I just ordered it for 18m Gdd.

Will also keep it in mind for future new baby presents - I like to give books for later, rather than adding to the mountain of soft toys and 0-3m clothes.

Yes! All asleep! Oh thank you!
